Students of the double degree in Business Administration and Management + International Relations participate in real innovation projects proposed and managed by companies such as Avanade, CaixaBank, Eco Alf, CIMPA PLM (Sopra Steria Group) or Quirón Salud among others.
All the projects are aligned with the SDG 2030 (Sustainable Development Goals) of the 2030 agenda established by the United Nations Assembly.

Meet some of your teachers
University professor, manager and entrepreneur with more than 25 years of experience in teaching, academic management and business consultancy. PhD in Business Administration and Management, specialist in accounting, financial planning and business development. He has led both teams and projects in universities and companies.
She has 20 years of professional experience in the field of international development cooperation, coordinating projects and public funding agreements in Latin America, Central America and Africa. She has also worked as an independent evaluator of official development aid projects and speaks four languages: Spanish, English, French and Portuguese.
D. in Economics and Business Administration from the Universidad Pontificia Comillas, where he also holds degrees in Economics and Business Administration and in Business Administration and Management. He also holds a degree in Law from the University of Deusto.
Extensive experience in auditing, having worked as Senior Executive at Telefónica and Auditor at PWC, among others. He holds a PhD in New Business and Tourism Trends and a degree in Auditing and Finance.
Solid academic and professional career in digital marketing, innovation and strategy. He has been a manager at The Coca-Cola Company and a lecturer at leading schools such as ESADE and UAX, combining global business vision with high-level teaching experience.

The Double Degree in Business Administration and International Relations trains professionals capable of managing companies in global environments and understanding the international political, economic and diplomatic context that affects business. The ideal student is someone with a curiosity for the world, an interest in both international markets and geopolitics, and a vocation for working in multicultural environments. This profile is especially in demand in companies with multinational activity, international organisations and global business consultancies.
Las salidas profesionales son amplias y globales. Puedes desarrollar tu carrera en áreas como comercio exterior, dirección de expansión internacional, consultoría de negocio global, diplomacia económica, instituciones europeas (Comisión Europea, Parlamento Europeo), organizaciones internacionales (ONU, OCDE, FMI), ONGs internacionales o banca multilateral. También es un perfil muy buscado en departamentos de estrategia internacional de grandes empresas, especialmente en sectores como energía, telecomunicaciones, industria y logística global.
Yes, especially if you combine it with international placements, additional languages and internships abroad. The curriculum is designed with a global perspective, including subjects in English, analysis of international markets and understanding of political and economic systems in different regions of the world. Most programmes include periods of Erasmus or other compulsory or strongly recommended international exchanges. If you want to work outside Spain, this double degree is one of the best academic starting points.
El inglés es imprescindible y en muchos programas se exige un nivel mínimo de B2 o C1 para acceder o para cursar asignaturas impartidas íntegramente en ese idioma. Un segundo idioma —francés, alemán, chino mandarín o árabe— es un valor añadido muy significativo para las salidas en organismos internacionales y diplomacia económica. Algunas universidades requieren o recomiendan acreditar el nivel de inglés antes de comenzar el programa. Si todavía no tienes un nivel alto, es recomendable trabajarlo activamente durante los primeros años de carrera.
The pure International Relations degree is more oriented towards political-diplomatic analysis, the theory of international relations and international law. The double degree with ADE adds a business and management dimension that opens doors in the private sector much more strongly. If you want to work in diplomacy, development cooperation or geopolitical analysis, International Relations may be enough. But if your goal is the global business world - consulting, multinationals, international banking - the combination with ADE is clearly superior.
El plan de estudios combina materias de ambas titulaciones. Por el lado de ADE: Economía, Contabilidad, Finanzas, Marketing Internacional y Estrategia Empresarial. Por el lado de Relaciones Internacionales: Teoría de las Relaciones Internacionales, Derecho Internacional Público, Política Comparada, Economía Internacional, Geopolítica, Negociación Internacional e Instituciones Europeas. Muchos programas incluyen también asignaturas de cooperación al desarrollo, gestión de proyectos internacionales y comunicación intercultural, que resultan muy relevantes para el perfil laboral.
La duración habitual del Doble Grado en ADE y Relaciones Internacionales es de 5 años, aunque puede variar entre 4,5 y 6 años según la universidad. Al concluir, obtienes los dos títulos de grado oficiales reconocidos en el Espacio Europeo de Educación Superior, lo que facilita el reconocimiento de tu formación en otros países. La mayoría de los programas también incluyen un período de movilidad internacional o prácticas en el extranjero integradas en el plan de estudios.
It is a possible, albeit competitive, pathway. For positions in institutions such as the European Commission, the European Parliament, the UN or the World Bank, a double degree in Business Administration and International Relations is a very solid academic foundation. However, these institutions usually also require previous experience, fluency in several languages and, frequently, a master's degree specialising in public policy, European affairs or international cooperation. The double degree is an excellent first step to open these doors in the long term.
El salario depende enormemente del sector y del país donde se trabaje. En España, un perfil junior en consultoría internacional o en una multinacional puede comenzar entre 22.000 y 30.000 € brutos anuales. En organizaciones internacionales con sede en el extranjero, especialmente en ciudades como Bruselas, Ginebra o Nueva York, los salarios de entrada son significativamente más altos, aunque la competitividad también lo es. Con experiencia, los perfiles especializados en expansión internacional o comercio exterior alcanzan fácilmente los 40.000–60.000 € brutos anuales.

La UTC está formada por la Jefatura de estudios; dos vocales, profesores de la Titulación; un profesional externo; un representante del PAS y un representante de estudiantes.
Los estudiantes son elegidos en proceso democrático, convocados a través del Campus virtual. En caso de haber más de un candidato, se celebra elecciones, para designarlo por mayoría.
El Comité de Seguimiento y Mejora del Título, efectivo a partir del año 2022, está formado por el Jefe de estudios, la Coordinadora del Grado, estudiante, profesores de la titulación, y responsable de Calidad de la UAX.

During the development of the process, an evaluation team from the Fundación para el Conocimiento Madrimasd will meet with different stakeholders of the degree. In addition, they provide us with a form so that any interested party can indicate to the Foundation those aspects they consider relevant to the development of this programme.
