Two main strategic projects are currently being developed:
Dean of the Faculty of Biomedical and Health Sciences
Specialist in cardiology and advanced heart failure with a solid clinical and academic career. She has developed her clinical activity both in the Spanish public and private system and in the United Kingdom. PhD in Medicine and prolific author, she has collaborated in books and multiple scientific publications where she focused her research experience on circadian fluctuations in myocardial ischaemic damage.
She has more than 16 years of experience in the education sector with a focus on health, exercising academic, innovative and transformative leadership. Experienced in the design and implementation of advanced educational technologies and a strong advocate for the inclusion of artificial intelligence and new digital tools in a responsible but agile way in both the education and health sectors.

Innovation and Research
Our faculty has a solid research structure led by the Faculty Research Coordinator, Mº Rosario Baquero, professor. Her team is joined by research coordinators from each scientific branch who encourage and promote interdisciplinary collaboration, the formation of research groups, the development of new projects and the guidance and mentoring of young researchers.
At faculty level, meetings are held with different interest groups in the Monitoring and Improvement Committees (students, graduates, employers, those responsible for the degrees and administration and services staff). In this way, the main challenges to be addressed, the results achieved and the main improvement actions implemented are shared and reported on.
