The UAX Online Higher Vocational Qualification in Dietetics is an official Higher Level Vocational Training qualification that you can study via distance learning over two years. Dual training in virtual mode:
Based on the Organic Law 3/2022 from the academic year 24-25 different significant novelties are introduced in the Vocational Training system in Spain.
This changeover to the new Dual VET regulations (a standard version for the whole country except for the order of the modules and the teaching load set by each Autonomous Community) affects all first-year courses in any of their modalities (face-to-face or virtual) except for the Higher Cycle in Dietetics, which remains in the LOGSE training plan, prior to the current LOE*.
On the Vocational Training course in Dietetics, you will complete your online studies with compulsory in-person work placements as part of the Workplace Training Module (FFE), which will last 370 hours. During this period, you will be able to apply all the knowledge you have learnt in a real-world work setting. Furthermore, you will develop professional skills and gain first-hand insight into the processes that govern the sector’s working environment.
Our students will have the opportunity to undertake work placements at leading companies and organisations to gain professional experience and apply the knowledge acquired during their training. We have a network of over 200 companies where these placements can take place.

Dietetics is the science that studies food and its effects on health, with the aim of designing balanced and personalised food plans to prevent diseases, improve quality of life and promote healthy habits. It is based on a combination of knowledge of nutrition, physiology, microbiology and food hygiene.
During the Vocational Training course in Dietetics, you will gain knowledge relating to a balanced diet, nutritional planning, diet therapy, health education, dietary control and food hygiene. You will also learn how to draw up dietary plans tailored to different needs and how to promote healthy lifestyle habits.

The distance-learning Higher National Diploma in Dietetics lasts for two academic years, during which you will acquire the knowledge and skills required to pursue a career in fields related to food, nutrition, health education and food control.
You will be able to enrol on the Higher-Level Diploma in Dietetics online if you meet any of the entry requirements set for Higher-Level vocational training programmes, such as holding a Baccalaureate qualification, an Intermediate-Level Vocational Qualification or any other officially recognised route of entry.
