The Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Activity and Sport Sciences (CAFYD), also known as INEF, has been offered as a face-to-face programme at our Málaga campus since the 25-26 academic year. At UAX, we maintain close links with leading companies, clubs and organisations in the sports sector. This enables us to train future professionals with the theoretical and practical knowledge, as well as the specific skills required by the market in areas such as sports coaching, management, high performance, applied technology, teaching, research and entrepreneurship. CAFYD Malaga courses are designed with a practical approach that covers 60% of the content. At UAX we focus on applying theoretical knowledge in real situations that simulate your future professional reality. To do this you will work in small groups to optimise your learning, with a methodology that includes lectures, practicals, seminars, workshops and scheduled visits to sports centres.

The Universidad Alfonso X el Sabio Mare Nostrum manages the international mobility of its own and host students through the International Relations Office (ORI), within the framework of its Quality Management System.
Through cooperation agreements with universities in Europe, America and Asia, students can carry out academic stays abroad or study at UAX Mare Nostrum.
The ORI coordinates the calls for applications, the academic and administrative support, the welcome day, the accommodation support, the offer of Spanish courses and the academic recognition of the studies carried out, in accordance with the regulations in force.

A leading academic staff
You will learn alongside practising professionals and lecturers with extensive experience in sport, physical activity and health, who will guide you in your academic and professional development.
PhD Cum Laude in Education, Sport and Health from the University of Vigo, researcher in the CTS 171 Group at the University of Granada and Head of Studies in Physiotherapy and CCAFyD at the University Alfonso X el Sabio. Her research focuses on acrobatic gymnastics, health, sports performance and body image, with numerous international publications. A former national team gymnast, she combines academic and sporting experience with the management of educational innovation projects and the promotion of inclusive and evidence-based physical education.
Degree in Psychology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, with a Master's degree in Psycho-oncology and in Bioethics and Law. She has more than 16 years of experience in Palliative Care and Psycho-oncology, forming part of the team at the Cudeca Foundation and the Virgen de la Victoria University Hospital. She has been a lecturer on the Master's Degree in Palliative Care at the University of Malaga and has been a speaker at national and international conferences, and has received recognition for her work in psychosocial care and health training.
Degree in Medicine from the University of Malaga, with specialisation and Master's degree in Ophthalmology, and research stay at the Paul-Flechsig-Institut für Hirnforschung (Leipzig, Germany). With more than ten years of experience in the Andalusian Health System, she combines her clinical work with teaching at CESUR Malaga East and the University of Malaga as a clinical tutor and ECOE examiner.
PhD Cum Laude in Physical Activity and Sport Sciences, accredited by ANECA and with six years of recognised research. Expert in university teaching in Early Childhood Education, Primary Education and Master's Degree in Physical Education, she has participated in teaching innovation projects and international conferences. Her research focuses on Sport Psychology, with publications in JCR journals and contributions to international conferences, being a member of scientific committees and reviewer of several Sport Science journals.
Doctor Cum Laude in Physical Activity and Sport Sciences from the Pablo de Olavide University, Graduate in CAFyD from the Polytechnic University of Madrid and Master in Physical and Sport Performance. He has carried out international research stays and has publications in high impact journals and presentations at conferences. His research focuses on exercise physiology, differences between men and women and load monitoring in team sports, combining teaching in undergraduate and master's degree courses and participation in the organisation of conferences such as the Strength Symposium.
Graduate in Physical Activity and Sport Sciences (EADE), with a Master's Degree in High Performance in Sport (COE-UCAM) and a Master's Degree in Teacher Training (University of Malaga). National Athletics Instructor, with experience in physical preparation in football, athletics and sports centres. PhD student at the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, with publications in high impact JCR journals in Sports Science.
