Description of the content External academic placements do not have specific subject-specific content, as they build upon, reinforce and complement the content of the other modules within the degree programme. Students will undertake external placements at centres specialising in sports physiotherapy, as well as at various sporting events, under the supervision of a qualified physiotherapist. During the placements, students will adopt a holistic therapeutic approach to athletes by participating in the processes of assessment, treatment planning and delivery, and the promotion and maintenance of health, whilst taking into account the different stages of competition. In addition, they will review the available scientific evidence relating to some of the clinical cases analysed during the placements, subsequently producing a reflective piece of work comparing standard clinical practice with existing scientific evidence. Submission of a report on the external academic placement, accounting for 30 per cent of the mark 100% attendance is compulsory. To present a piece of work that synthesises the knowledge and skills acquired during the degree programme, with the aim of defending it before an examination board and demonstrating the innovative elements of the proposal Description of the content The content of the Master’s Thesis will be based on the development of an original project agreed upon with the Master’s Thesis Supervisor. This project must be original, not merely bibliographical in nature, designed so that the time invested by the student corresponds to the ECTS credits, and distinct from any other project or projects the student may have undertaken previously and which have already been academically assessed (Academically Supervised Projects, Reports, etc.). The Master's Degree in Sports Physiotherapy provides for the recognition of up to 9 ECTS of the external academic practice subject for professional experience.
The recognition of credits for professional experience will require a personalised and detailed study that guides the student on which activities within the work environment guarantee the acquisition of the set of competences of the degree, this study will be carried out by the validation committee of the degree and the admissions department of the UAX.

• Junta de Facultad/Centro: órgano de seguimiento del despliegue de los procesos académicos a nivel de Facultad. Participan el responsable del centro, los jefes de estudio de las titulaciones y el coordinador de calidad.
• Comisión de Seguimiento y Mejora del Centro (SIM centro): órgano responsable del despliegue y seguimiento del plan de iniciativas y el plan de mejora del centro. Participan los responsables del centro, los jefes de estudio, PDI, PTGAS, estudiantes y coordinadores de calidad.
• Comisiones de Seguimiento y Mejora del título (SIM título): órgano responsable de asegurar la calidad académica del título y el cumplimiento de la memoria verificada, así como de impulsar una cultura de mejora continua en el programa. Está compuesto por el jefe de estudios, PDI, PTGAS, responsable de calidad y estudiantes. Analiza resultados, identifica áreas de mejora y propone acciones para fortalecer la experiencia formativa y el despliegue del título.
