Learning in a conventional laboratory is not the same as learning in a professional laboratory. That is why UAX has created the UAX-BioLAB for students with an interest in research and healthcare. It is a state-of-the-art laboratory equipped with cutting-edge technology and the equipment typically found in a professional biotechnology laboratory. In addition, UAX-BioLAB features a cell culture room with eight individual workstations.
UAX-BioLAB supports practical placements for the Bachelor’s Degree in Biotechnology , the Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedicine , the Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy , the Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine , the Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Medicine and other healthcare degree programmes, with a focus on developing research activities and output.
