A genuine connection with the music industry

Live Nation is one of the key players in the global music and live entertainment industry. Its work is behind some of the world’s most significant concerts, tours and festivals, connecting artists, professional teams and audiences through authentic musical experiences.

The company operates at the heart of the sector, playing a part in the entire process that brings live music to life: from event planning and production to managing relationships with artists, brands, venues and audiences. It is an environment where musical creation, cultural management, the entertainment business and strategic decision-making all come together.

This industry perspective forms the basis of the collaboration between UAX and Live Nation, a partnership that brings an authentic understanding of how the music industry works today into the university setting. The degree programmes developed within this framework incorporate this industry knowledge to train graduates for careers in live music, the music business, cultural project management and entertainment within a global, ever-changing and highly professionalised context.

The value of this collaboration lies in aligning education with the realities of the market —its dynamics, challenges and opportunities —and in helping students understand music not only as a creative endeavour, but also as an industry.

Training in music and entertainment involves developing a broad perspective, capable of connecting creativity, business and the audience experience.

The programme, run in collaboration with Live Nation , focuses on producing versatile, adaptable professionals who are ready for a constantly evolving sector.

A programme designed for those who not only want to learn how the industry works, but also to play an active part in it.
