The best way to achieve a high level of specialisation in surgery is by tackling a wide range of cases of varying degrees of complexity, thereby developing your knowledge and technical skills with each procedure.
On this Master’s in Periodontology, Oral Surgery and Implantology, which you will study at our university in Madrid, you will be part of a coordinated multidisciplinary team tackling over 200 cases a week, taking your training to the next level using the most advanced surgical technology.
What skills will you acquire?
We have two in-house dental clinics in Madrid equipped with the latest dental technology.
We treat 13,000 patients a month at these clinics, and our students gain a 360° insight into the dental profession in areas such as periodontics, endodontics, orthodontics, implantology, cosmetic dentistry, surgery and more. Our clinics feature 150 fully digitised treatment rooms, with state-of-the-art technology in every consultation room . More than 225,000 patients a year place their trust in our clinics! En nuestro máster en cirugía bucal e implantología, contarás con un programa eminentemente práctico, con clases orientadas a la práctica clínica. Estarás acompañado por un tutor que te asesorará en tu camino de aprendizaje y un orientador profesional que guiará tus próximos pasos en el mundo laboral.
Además, te familiarizarás con técnicas pioneras y las herramientas más actuales del mercado, ya que tu formación tendrá lugar en nuestra Clínica Odontológica y en el Centro de Innovación y Especialidades de la UAX, ubicados en Madrid: dos centros equipados tecnológicamente con los últimos avances en aparatología dental.

By studying the Master's Degree in Oral Surgery and Implantology you will be trained at the UAX's Centro Odontológico de Innovación y Especialidades Avanzadas, where you will have an approved operating theatre to perform advanced or complex surgeries under sedation and anaesthesia.
In total you will do 2,150 practical hours spread over two academic years. .
