What will you learn?

The digitalisation of healthcare is driving the adoption of connected medical devices, remote monitoring systems and digital platforms capable of improving healthcare and the patient experience. However, this growing connectivity also presents new challenges relating to cybersecurity, data privacy and continuity of care.

The ‘Cybersecurity in IoMT’ micro-credential offers a structured introduction to the security of connected healthcare systems, providing a practical understanding of the main risks, threats and protective measures applicable to digital health environments.

Throughout the programme, students will learn how IoMT ecosystems work, understand the value of clinical data and analyse the vulnerabilities that may affect devices, networks and platforms used in healthcare settings.
