Neuroeducation for Teachers – Early Detection and Neuropsychological Assessment

This programme is designed to train teachers to understand learning from a neuropsychological perspective, encouraging them to analyse pupils’ cognitive, emotional and behavioural processes and to apply inclusive teaching strategies in the classroom. 

This course is one of the four micro-credentials that make up the Neuroeducation pathway for teachers. If you complete them all, you will obtain a qualification that counts towards your professional grading scale and which , depending on the current regulations of each autonomous community, could be worth up to 1 point in competitive recruitment processes.

What will you learn?

The micro-credential ‘Neuroeducation for Teachers: Early Detection and Neuropsychological Assessment’ is designed to train teachers to understand learning from a neuropsychological perspective applied to the educational context.

Through rigorous training with direct application in the classroom, teachers will acquire the knowledge to identify warning signs in learning, understand the main cognitive, emotional and behavioural processes of their pupils, and participate in an informed manner in psycho-educational assessment processes.

Upon completion of the micro-credential, students will be able to:

  • Analyse learning based on the fundamentals of educational neuropsychology.
  • Detect potential learning difficulties at an early stage.
  • Interpret educational assessment reports and processes.
  • Apply educational strategies tailored to the diversity of the student body.
  • Collaborate with teaching teams, guidance services and families in making educational decisions.
